New Chuwa produce and provide a wide range of 100% pure new wool tops both untreated or chemically processed, which range mainly from 16.5 to 23.0 micron (µ). However, depending upon customer request New Chuwa can make wool tops from either finer or coarser wool, examples are wool tops made from 15.5, 24.5 and 27 to 30micron(µ) wools. The wool used to manufacture them is primarily sourced from Australia, but also, to meet some customer requirements, wool is also sourced from New Zealand and South Africa.

Depending upon customer needs wool tops can be supplied either in bobbin form or bump top format each weighing around 10 kilos’.

In addition to undyed wool tops, New Chuwa can also arrange to supply dyed wool tops in accordance with customer requirements in terms of shade and colour fastness requirements.

In addition to supplying untreated wool tops New Chuwa offer a wide range of chemically treated wool tops which are processed in-house in their state of the art chemical processing unit. These include Machine Washable (Superwash), Mercerised (Soft-Lustre) and Basolan, and innovative variations of each developed by New Chuwa.
